AA District IX Outstanding Wrestler

Congratulations to Anthony Benson, who is only the 6th wrestler in Brockway's history to obtain the AA District IX Outstanding Wrestler Award. He is pictured here with Mr. Randy Cathcart, the District IX Wrestling Chairman. Anthony also is the AA District IX 170 lb District Champion. He will be traveling to Sharon for the Northwest AA Regional Championships on March 1st and 2nd along with 3 other Brockway wrestlers: Ryan Carlson at 106 lbs, Mason Lindenmuth at 120 lbs and Jack Glasl 126 lbs. We wish all four of our wrestlers good luck.

 

 

 

Metal Shop Art

Pictured below are examples of some of the very creative peices being done in Mr. Decker's Metal Shop Classes. From metal roses to horses and clams, these very talented students have created some serious peices of art.

 
 
 
 
 

 

2013 District 3 Band Festival Concert

    On January 25th and 26th, four students from the Brockway Area Jr.-Sr. High School were selected to perform at the PMEA (Pennsylvania Music Educators Association) 2013 District 3 Band Festival Concert.  The concert was hosted by the Clarion Area High School.  District 3 includes the counties of Armstrong, Clarion, Indiana, Jefferson & Venango.  Thirty schools participated in this event which consisted of 160 students.  The students worked hard to achieve the level of success necessary to be part of this group.   Congratulation to Nathan Banks, Nick Genevro, Andrew Serafini, Noah Serafini, and Band Director, Mr. Kevin Rush!

With over 500 school districts in PA, Brockway Area School District is proud to announce that the Teacher of the Year for the State of PA is home grown. Not only does Ryan Devlin teach here at the Brockway High School, but he is a Brockway Alumni.
