Did you know that we have seasons due to the tilt of the Earth. When the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun we experience summer and as the Earth travels around the Sun we end up tilted away providing us with less daylight and colder temperatures giving us winter.

Oct. 15:  Bring Someone to Lunch for grade 5 at 12:30 PM
Oct. 19-23:  Book Fair Week
Oct. 21:  Last Walking Wednesday for the fall
Oct. 22:  Book Fair Night for Families from 5:30-7 PM (Prizes for attendance)
Oct. 22 and 23: Chromebook Pick Up (Call the school to reserve one for the year at 814-265-8417)
Oct.23:  Wear Pink for Cancer Awareness
Oct. 26-30:  Red Ribbon Week (theme day information to come)
Oct. 28:  End of the first nine weeks
Oct. 30:  Halloween parades (K-2 parade 8:25 AM/ Grades 3-6 parade 8:45 AM) Great Assembly and Halloween Classroom parties/ Flex Day with dismissal at noon
Nov. 4:  Report card day (Report cards will be emailed home and a paper copy sent as well.)
